The 506 street car brings back memories of my childhood when I rode it to school and dreamt of becoming an artist at the age of 13. Art has finally come back into my life after a 20 year hiatus and I've found my joy and passion once again.

I grew up in the east end of Toronto for most of my life and remember taking the 506 street car for Grades 7 & 8. In high school I pursued my dream of being an artist by getting into central tech school for the arts. I was a little nervous because this was the first time leaving the east end but also excited to be in one of the best arts school. I remembered sketching the people on the 506 streetcar as I went to school.
